Adventure!

2:17 here is China. Today we woke with a smile and we ventured out of the room as a family of 3. We went to breakfast where we found out we like congie. We strolled the hotel a little. We had a bottle and took a nap (see pic). We even, and this is big, went to the underground market. Every where we went, groups of women would gather and look. Every so often, one or two, with smiles on their faces would come up and talk to Emma and touch er little feet. A few would even use some broke english to say "beautiful". Jenn was able to get some great advice from many of the ladies on clothes to pick and size diapers to buy. Funny to watch Jenn communicate without a clue as to what is being said. And if you know how much Jenn does not enjoy change and the unpredictible, you know to laugh. She is so wonderful and is such a good mother (even after just two days). Tonight we are planning to go out to a steak house. Not sure where or what is meant by "steak", but we are feeling adventurous! We did buy Emma a Chinses "piggy bank". Mike, Micheal, and Nick will like to know that. haha Love to all. Thank you so much for your kind words and comments. we plan to keep them together for Emma to read years from now.

She is so precious!!!! Sounds like you are falling right into parenthood and it so obvious that Emma Rose is a happy little girl. I can't help but wake in the middle of the night here and check in and see what new things you are experiencing. Jennifer the smile on your face is one of contentment and peace, and all that you have been through up to this point was all in God's plan. He planned from the start that Emma Rose was to be your daughter and the bumps in the road where only a stepping stone (sometimes pretty rough) to the blessing he had planned for you and Vanous. Got to stop starting to cry.
Can't wait to hear about the "steak" house. Give Emma Rose hugs and kisses from all of us.
God Bless

You will never know what a blessing you have given to me everytime I read an update. Emma Rose is a very lucky young lady to receive parents like you and Vanous and you and Vanous are very blessed to have Emma Rose in yours. You look like the perfect family. Thank you so very much for sharing this special time with us and allowing us to receive these blessings from God. I can't wait to get my hands on her. She is just precious. Can't wait to find out what kind of steak you have. Give Emma Rose a kiss and love her lots.

Mr.Brown, Wow Sounds like you're having lots of fun with the new baby! Speaking of steak i'm kinda hungry, and you don't exactly know if it will be the same kind of steak we are used to in America. And your wife trying to communicate with the Chinese should be an interesting story.

Can't wait to have you back at school ( Ms. Ellis is doing great, however)

See you soon!
