3 weeks at home!

We have had a interesting 3 weeks. The first week we spent getting over jet lag. The second we spent fighting Emma Rose's sinus infection. And this last week, both Vanous and I have had colds. We are so hoping that this week will be the week we are all well. Emma Rose is really starting to bloom. Her personality is shining and there are more smiles than tears lately. We have just been staying at the house getting to know each other better. We have been to church and to some small social events.
She seems to handle it just fine. We are still very cautious about "passing the baby around" due to our worry about attachment but that is hard to not do when everyone is soo happy to see her. She is saying mamamamama, dadadadada, and bababababa right now. She imitates well and is learning fast to do whatever Mommy shows her. Daddy is soooo much fun for Emma Rose. They play and laugh and do exactly what father/daughters are supposed to do. I love watching them. Vanous is such a good daddy and he is a natural. I think our homecoming has been a success. Enjoy the new pictures!

I was told about this web site through my daughter. I just wanted to let you know that I never thought anything would touch me as much as this story has. It is one of the most warm, love felt stories I have ever read. As a parent I know how much love you have for this child. Enjoy her and your life as a family of "3". One word of advise is to act like a sponge and soak up everything about this precious gift from God because time goes by too fast and next time you look up she will be graduating. Congratulations on your new addition. My thoughts and prayers will be with you as you embark on another journey with your daughter. She is adorable.

OH MY GOSH!!!! She just keeps getting more adorable everytime i get on here. I am so happy that things are going good. And Im excited that she is hanging to you when she meets new people I know how stressed Mrs.Brown was about that. I want to see her so bad I can only imagine she is even cuter up close. So Mrs. Brown I will be home for Christmas Break and I would absolutly love to see her and I got her present. So just e-mail and tell when and stuff if it is ok.
