We kept our one year adoption celebration warm and personal with our family. We went to the local Chinese place in town for dinner and ER got two gifts we saved for her from China. A couple days later, ER was the cutest ladybug you would ever see for Halloween. Everywhere we went, she made out like a bandit. She held up well as we were out till 9:00 receiving some gracious gifts from family and friends. Not sure who was more worn out, her or us.

It's so hard to believe it's been a year...how can it simultaneously
seem as if it was only yesterday and also feel like we've known our daughters forever? It's fun to think back on that wonderful, exciting & exhausting plane trip to China and not think of you guys and smile.
ER is so cute in her ladybug costume! I can't believe how much she has grown and changed since Nov 07. Vanous looks a little different too! Love the beard!
